The Payroll Tax Manager supervises staff and processes to ensure accurate and timely payment of all taxes to appropriate jurisdictions and to ensure accurate and timely updates and compliance of the PeopleSoft System. The Manager is responsible for all external tax audits and oversees the year end close process, W2 processing, and all quarterly and annual updates to the PeopleSoft system for compliance rule changes. License or Certification: - CPP preferred, CPA preferred
Education, Training and Years of Experience: - BS in accounting or related field, 5 years experience in tax reporting
Machines, Equipment Used: - General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.
Physical Requirements: - Good visual acuity and ability to communicate. - Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and ability push/pull a minimum of 25 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
