We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated person to join our Housekeeping staff as an Environmental Services Aide. In this position, you will support the entire hospital, with attention to detail, a positive outlook, and a desire to be part of our patients’ journey back to independence.
Housekeeper responsibilities include:
- Performs routine and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control standards. ― Cleans and empties waste receptacles according to infection control standards.
- Understands and institutes standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Uses chemicals properly in accordance with manufacturer’s labels.
- Maintains and monitors equipment and supplies; stores all supplies in proper areas.
- Collaborates with Nursing and Admissions and insures patient rooms are ready for patient arrivals.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Machines, Equipment Used:
- General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.
- Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High duster, vacuum, mop, spray bottles, floor polisher, linen carts, trash carts.
