As a nurse manager, channel the full extent of your knowledge, skills, ambition and experience on a daily basis. Inspire our patients to progress each day as you:
Assisting in the development of patient care programs, policies & procedures. Implementing plans for providing nursing care including the types and numbers of nursing personnel necessary. Promoting a healthy work environment and culture that enables Encompass Health to fulfill its mission by meeting or exceeding its goals and support the staff in meeting their aspirations. Supervising and coordinating nursing personnel and delivery of nursing care on a 24-hour basis, with on call rotation. Coordinating administrative and clinical activities, both interand intra-departmentally.
Current RN Licensure, BLS with ACLS certification within 1 year.
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
The ideal candidate has progressive nursing management experience including all aspects of employee management, is a creative thinker & problem solver, has a positive attitude, is high energy, a foward thinker and is self-motivated. Clinical experience with traches, wounds, ostomies, peritoneal dialysis, milrinone, dobutamine & heparin drips a plus.
