Regional Director Therapy Operations, West Region

Job Description

The Regional Director of Therapy Operations serves as a member of the regional team and provides direction and support to hospital clinical and administrative leaders.  In addition the position:
- Supports an environment and culture to enable hospitals and region to fulfill its mission
- Works within regional team to establish clinical and operational goals
- Conveys organization's mission and priorities to clinical leaders and administrative leadership
- Supports hospital DTOs to accomplish objectives
- Serves as a member of the therapy leadership board
- Communicates and monitors therapy leadership initiatives

License or Certification:
- Must be in possession of current state PT, OT, or SLP license on or before the first day of employment. 
- CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
Education, Training and Experience
- Successful completion of an accredited Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's Degree per discipline
- Minimum of  2 years' experience as a director within the organization
Machines, Equipment Used:
- Therapy equipment and general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.
Physical Requirements:
- Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects such as electronic equipment weighing a minimum of 30 pounds utilizing equipment and techniques to minimize lifting and awkward positioning.  Assistance should be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
- Adheres to the company's Standards of Business Conduct.
- Maintains current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to utilize computerized electronic communication systems and programs.
- Proficient in company software and applications.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Environmental Conditions:
- Indoor, temperature controlled, smoke-free environment.  Frequent outdoor exposure.
- Require frequent travel
- Exposure or potential exposure to blood and body fluids may be required.
- Handicapped accessible.
- May work under stressful circumstances at times.
Proficiency or Productivity Standards:
- Has regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Adheres to hospital/department dress code including wearing ID badge.
- May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and or night shifts if needed to meet deadlines. 
- May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
- Will be required to work as necessary during disaster situations, i.e., before, during or after a disaster.
- May be required to stay after workday to assist after a disaster situation until relief arrives.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
