Floor Technician

Here is your opportunity to channel the full extent of your knowledge, skills, ambition, and experience on a daily basis. Inspire our patients to progress each day as you:

• Performs routine and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control standards.

― Cleans and empties of waste receptacles.

• Collaborates with Nursing and Admissions and ensures patient rooms are ready for patient arrivals.

• Completes floor care including stripping, buffing, waxing and carpet care as required.

• Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments.

• Uses “traction drive” floor scrubbers provided in our facilities.

• Maintains records of when preventative maintenance is performed on all floor care equipment. Credentials:

• Valid driver’s license may be required. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Six (6) months of floor care experience, or equivalent preferred.  Additional training will be provided on the job.

• Experience in the areas of general housekeeping preferred.
