Position Purpose:

The Contract Manager drafts and edits a variety of contracts requested by company and hospital management. The Contract Manager works closely with lawyers in the company’s legal department, the legal department’s contract administrator and other professionals throughout the organization. This position coordinates and manages the preparation, review and proof of legal contracts and documents. This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining all contracts and related documents in the company’s contract and document management systems and ensuring all contracts are processed in an orderly and efficient manner. In addition, the Contract Manager may conduct and coordinate research into a variety of contract issues, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Assists with negotiating, drafting and editing contracts, amendments and contract extensions.
  • Conducts and coordinates research into a variety of contract issues.
  • Networks with co-workers to share best practices.
  • Understands different departments and their role in the Home Office.
  • Develops strategies and aligns work to achieve goals.
  • Navigates the intranet and internet appropriately.
  • Competently utilizes specific technological applications to accomplish goals.
  • Troubleshoots minor technical issues and seeks appropriate assistance when necessary




Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of contracts experience. Undergraduate degree or Juris doctorate not required.
  • Demonstrates high level computer skills and a knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
