Responsibilities

Encompass Health is searching for an Administrative Specialist / Intake Coordinator to join our home health team.  

  • Act as resource person for referral sources, and works closely with other members of the team to ensure adequate coordination and transition occurs to home health and hospice services.
  • Receive referrals from physicians, facilities and staff and enter referral in Homecare Homebase.
  • Ensure all demographic information is accurate on the referral form based on Medicare Eligibility.
  • Scan referral paperwork into Homecare Homebase to ensure that it is made available to field staff.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: 990 West Bellwood Lane, Murray UT 84123

Qualifications

The right person for this role will be outgoing, have a positive attitude, and have exceptional multitasking skills. 

  • Minimum of 6 months of medical records experience in a clinic, hospital, or home health setting.
  • Previous experience working with an EMR system is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is a plus.
  • Experience working with Sfax is a plus.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Advanced typing and computer skills.
