Responsibilities

The Clinical Field Staff Supervisor (RN) ensures the overall coordination of hospice services provided to all clients is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice. This is a highly visible role and one that is essential in the efficient flow of information and execution of quality patient care.

  • Assist with case conference and IDG process, reviews and approves orders, in addition to providing oversight of patient care.
  • Assist the Branch Director with day-to-day office and staff management related to patient care.
  • Effectively facilitate the relationship between physicians, referral sources, patients, caregivers and employees.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and licensed in the state of Lousiana.
  • Must possess a minimum of two years' nursing experience and one year experience in hospice
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice agencies
  • Must be competent with technology
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
