Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Location: 6688 North Central Expwy, Dallas, TX 75206

 

The Manager, IT Infrastructure is a management level position responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the company’s infrastructure systems and services. This position works with key stakeholders to determine infrastructure needs, forecasts capacity requirements and usage, and implements highly reliable and available infrastructure solutions. This position may require management of other IT administrators, effective delegation of tasks between team members, and support of the career development of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure.
  • Works with key stakeholders to determine infrastructure requirements.
  • Analyzes and forecasts capacity requirements and usage.
  • Architects and implements highly reliable and available infrastructure solutions
  • Executes health and performance monitoring of infrastructure components.
  • Documents and maintains IT infrastructure architecture, procedures, and policies.
  • Manages changes and updates to technical environment.
  • Manages configurations.
  • Manages vendor relationships.
  • Designs and implements corrective actions.
  • Supports incident and problem resolution.
  • Implements corrective and preventative action.
  • Implements process and technology improvements.
  • Implements enterprise security, utilizing tools and techniques in support of company policies.
  • Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments.
  • Completes mandatory training and courses required by completion date.
  • Reports questionable situations, concerns, complaints or harassment immediately.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as requested to support needs of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree recommended.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or other cloud based technologies required.
  • Technical certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, etc. preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Privacy and Security)
  • Expertise in one or more of the following concepts: infrastructure architecture; infrastructure systems management and monitoring; operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux, VMWare, Hyper-V; platforms such as Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, SCCM, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, IIS, Apache, WebLogic; WAN/LAN, MPLS, point to point connections, VPN, wireless networking; VOIP, SIP, PRI, TDM; network and voice components such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, wireless access points, firewalls, PBX; disaster recovery tools and procedures; capacity management; infrastructure/system security; mobile device management.
  • Experience in and/or familiar with a number of the following:
    • Management of infrastructure team staff (effective delegation of tasks; create, review, and approve performance reviews; career development of staff)
    • Recommending, designing, and implementing high-quality, cost-effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Providing leadership for infrastructure initiatives which includes developing project plans, assigning and managing resources, identifying and solving problems, and meetings deadlines and deliverables.
    • Analyzing and forecasting capacity and usage.
    • Health and performance monitoring of infrastructure components.
    • Ensuring availability, performance, and compatibility of applications, services and supporting infrastructure.
    • Implementing enterprise security, utilizing tools and techniques in support of company policies.
    • Documenting and maintaining IT infrastructure architecture, procedures and policies.
    • Managing changes and updates to technical environment.
    • Implementing corrective and preventative action.
    • Participating in development and execution of infrastructure annual budget.
